Delta Steel produces a range of steel products, including stainless steel 446 pipes and tubes. These come in various sizes and shapes, all meeting both domestic and international quality standards.
Known as UNS S44600, these pipes and tubes are made from high-chromium stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance. SS 446 is particularly resistant to corrosion, scaling, oxidation, and atmospheric sulfurization. Delta Steel offers this material (also called WNR 1.4762 / 3) at competitive prices.
SS 446 pipes can handle temperatures between 1500 – 2100 °F, though they have limited tolerance for very high temperatures. These pipes are commonly used in applications like oil burners, turbine parts, heat exchangers, glass moulds, and soot blowers in steam boilers.
The SS 446 pipes and tubes are ideal for use in gas, oil, boiler, heat exchanger, and fluid applications. They come in a variety of specifications: wall thickness from 0.4 to 30 mm, lengths up to 24″, and types such as cold drawn, seamless, welded, hot finished, annealed, pickled, and extruded.
Clients can order custom lengths and shapes, and SS 446 welded tubes can be machined to meet specific piping requirements.
